I have had an unfortunate encounter fixing a friend’s desktop computer. She had two cats in her apartment, I was allergic and there was a lot of cat hair inside the desktop. Today I thought I would discuss cats and laptop fans.
Like many pets, cats love warmth so they naturally gravitate toward laptops which generate heat through the CPU and memory. Laptops can get very hot when they are left on. Often, when the laptop is left unsupervised, cats will sit on the keyboard causing the laptop to overheat.
Also, cat hair can get inside and clog the notebook heatsink preventing more hot air from getting out. If you have turned off your laptop and closed it your cat can still sit on the lid and break the screen. I recommend when you are done using your laptop you store it away out of your pets reach. Or maybe you need laptop cooling feet for raising your laptop enough to allow airflow under your laptop.
If you worry about that the laptop gets too hot when being used for a long time, a mini laptop cooling pad or a thin laptop coolerwould be helpful for you. Known as the world's first patented NB air extracting fan, the mini cooling pad allows faster extraction of the hot air out of a running system, which stabilizes the operation of the NB and prolongs its lifetime. Universal clip for fastening USB power interfaces, it’s compatible for all major NB brands and very suitable for storage and carrying. It costs low energy and produce low noise, would be saving and quiet. With the ergonomic dual-angle (0/9 optional) regulation, the thin laptop cooler is combined with a high coefficient of friction anti-skid pad to ensure the use of stability.
